Our HeritageFrom Oaxaca to the World

In 2023, Javier Alexis Mendoza founded Casa Mendoza in Barra de Copalita, Oaxaca.

In 2024, a new chapter was born: Patito Malo, an artisanal mezcal in two expressions—Espadín and Tobalá. Born in the Sierra Sur mountains, but its essence comes from much further: from our gods, our traditions, our land.

Today, from New Jersey, we continue representing our land. Patito Malo has crossed borders and proven that when an Oaxacan dreams with heart and works with discipline, there are no limits.
